ABSTRACT
Objective — The goal of our study was to evaluate the contribution central and autonomic nervous systems maintenance postural balance in elderly. Material Methods ― This included 120 healthy women 60-74 YO living community. They were distributed among two subgroups: (1) fallers (n=60) (2) non-fallers (n=60). Fallers had falls past 12 months, while none. Walk tests performed using Balance Master® posturography machine (NeuroCom, Natus, USA). state system assessed by Geodesic 300 EEG (GSN; Electrical Geodesics, Inc.; Eugene, OR, VNS-Spectrum (Neurosoft, Russia) via cardiointervalography. Results In Sit Stand test, sway velocity higher (p=0.047) walking speed (p=0.008) Tandem test lower fallers, compared with non-fallers. results Step Quick Turn showed that movement times left right legs longer for vs. (p=0.044 p=0.036, respectively), values during turning or as well (p=0.001 p=0.003, correspondingly). At same time, Up Over revealed lift-up index (p=0.016). There no statistically significant differences between groups system. absolute spectral power frontal region hemisphere alpha beta bands group, control. Conclusion A deterioration quality performing complex motor actions a decrease control elderly syndrome which may have caused their instability. Our confirmed need early assessment dynamic components prevent development geriatric syndrome.
