ABSTRACT
In this randomized controlled study, we investigated the effects of autologous Hemobag blood transfusion (AHBT) and allogenic (ABT) in off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB) surgery.Sixty patients who underwent surgery between February 2008 August were into 2 groups. The AHBT group (n = 30) consisted received transfusion, ABT transfusion. All OPCAB via sternotomy. time to extubation, chest tube drainage volume, postoperative white cell counts, amount sedimentation rate, C-reactive protein concentration, temperature, presence atelectasis recorded intensive care unit.Intraoperative bleeding fluid resuscitation similar groups (P > .05); however, there significant decreases loss, extubation period, incidence atelectasis, protein, fever compared with < .05). rate atrial fibrillation tended be lower than group.Autologous may beneficial certain cardiac patients; these require further study proved.
