ABSTRACT
The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), a group of medical and public health experts that provides advice to the Centers for Disease Control Prevention, normally meets 3 times per year develop US vaccine recommendations. ACIP met June 21-23, 2023, discuss respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccines, influenza pneumococcal meningococcal COVID-19 vaccines. also held special meeting August 3, RSV prophylaxis in infants. This update summarizes proceedings these meetings are most relevant pediatric population. Major updates clinicians include new recommendation monoclonal antibody nirsevimab prevention disease all infants, recommendations regarding use 20-valent conjugate vaccine, discussion potential forthcoming changes vaccination
