ABSTRACT
Objective High-quality intensive care, including targeted temperature management (TTM) for patients with postcardiac arrest syndrome, is a key element improving outcomes after out-of-hospital cardiac (OHCA). We aimed to assess the status of syndrome TTM and 6-month survival neurologically favorable outcomes, adult OHCA were treated TTM, using data from Korean Hypothermia Network prospective registry. Methods used registry, web-based multicenter registry that includes 22 participating hospitals throughout Republic Korea. Adult comatose survivors between October 2015 December 2018 included. The primary outcome was neurological at 6 months. Results Of 1,354 registered 550 (40.6%) survived months, 413 (30.5%) had good outcomes. identified 839 (62.0%) preClinsumed etiology. A total 937 (69.2%) collapses witnessed, shockable rhythms demonstrated in 482 (35.6%) patients, 421 (31.1%) arrived emergency department prehospital return spontaneous circulation. most common target 33°C, duration 24 hours. Conclusion neurologic rates this show great improvements compared those an earlier While optimal are still unknown, Keywords: Out-of-hospital arrest; Hypothermia, induced; Registries; Critical care
