Nursing students' perception of the clinical learning environment during the Covid-19 pandemic: a longitudinal study in the Czech Republic

ABSTRACT
Aim: The study aimed to describe how undergraduate nursing students evaluated the clinical learning environment of their studies during Covid-19 pandemic. Design: Longitudinal cohort study. Methods: research sample 49 full-time who completed first year practice in academic 2018/2019 was followed over three years Clinical Learning Environment, Supervision and Nurse Teacher evaluation scale (CLES+T) used for data collection. Quantitative were using descriptive inductive statistics. Results: Overall, throughout as average. Interaction with a tutor received lowest rating, while relationship mentor external factors (nursing management care workplace) highest rating. Second-year rated most highly. Students satisfied individual supervision two years. However, due pandemic, group prevailed third year, resulting reduced student satisfaction. Conclusion: Students’ perception changed studies. These changes driven by quality certain factors. pandemic represented significant impingement on course organization practice.
