Initial development of adult education learning toolkit: Inputs from adult education providers in the Philippines

ABSTRACT
Adult education is a practice in which adults participate methodical and organized activities through they can facilitate their understanding learning.Throughout the lives of individuals, are required to upgrade knowledge, skills, abilities aptitude.Hence, primary objective this study document some adult learning program practices Philippine Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) possibly develop an initial toolkit for implementation.This used developmental descriptive design with questionnaire purposive sampling was employed.Focus Group Discussion (FGD) triangulation has conducted gathering qualitative data.There were six participants from private government HIEs country.Results showed that majority (83%) agreed template-based most applicable.They believed type userfriendly flexible among toolkits.Participants (100%) there should be four sections toolkit, namely: introduction overview; objectives; learning/training tools; assessment evaluation.It further consider institutional mission, vision, objectives, align outcomes ASEAN 2030, SEAMEO 2021-2030 Priority Areas Philippines "Ambisyon 2040".It concludes Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA) Model monitoring evaluating proposed.Thus, model will improving process as well crafting rubric help providers evaluate programs implementation.
