Opioid addiction and misuse constitute a public health crisis in the United States. Recent research supports buprenorphine induction emergency department (ED) setting for patients with opioid use disorder (OUD). However, education regarding medicine (EM) physicians, residents, students is still limited.We created 1-hour introductory workshop identification treatment of withdrawal OUD ED medical going into EM interns.
