ABSTRACT
A dual frequency shared-aperture antenna array with grating lobe suppression in millimeter wave (mmW) band is investigated this letter. It consists of a patch working at 2.34 GHz the fundamental TM10 mode and slotted substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) cavity-backed 28.5 element excited TE440 cavity mode. The ground mmW slot employed as radiation microwave band, so high aperture reuse efficiency can be realized. By using staggered distribution technique, serious high-order SIW large spacing greatly suppressed. prototype fabricated measurement levels are lower than -18.5 dB GHz. ratio two antennas operating reaches 12.1:1. measured channel isolation between parts -45 2.35 -35 GHz, respectively.
