ABSTRACT
Colorectal cancer is one of the leading causes cancer-related death worldwide. Previous studies have shown that miR-92a has an oncogenic function in several cancers and its up-regulation correlated with malignant clinicopathologic behaviors colorectal cancer. It also been suggested circulating patients' plasma can be a potential biomarker for However, precise roles intracellular extracellular are not yet understood. In this study, we examined expression levels tumors (38 specimens 56 adenoma specimens) paired adjacent nontumorous tissues. Increased was frequently observed compared adenomas advanced clinical stages, tumor depth, size. We demonstrated within microvesicles (MVs) mice bearing colon xenografts were significantly increased those control mice. One to down-regulation Dickkopf-3 (Dkk-3), presumed suppressor gene. Within cells, suppression Dkk-3 by contributed cell proliferation. Extracellular packed MVs secreted cells delivered into endothelial proliferation motility these through same target gene, Dkk-3. These data suggest had important growth microenvironment
