ABSTRACT
Adversarial attacks on thermal infrared imaging expose the risk of related applications. Estimating security these systems is essential for safely deploying them in real world. In many cases, realizing physical space requires elaborate special perturbations. These solutions are often impractical and attention-grabbing. To address need a physically practical stealthy adversarial attack, we introduce HotCold Block, novel attack detectors that hide persons utilizing wearable Warming Paste Cooling Paste. By attaching readily available temperature-controlled materials to body, Block evades human eyes efficiently. Moreover, unlike existing methods build patches with complex texture structure features, utilizes an SSP-oriented optimization algorithm enables pure color blocks explores influence size, shape, position performance. Extensive experimental results both digital environments demonstrate performance our proposed Block. Code available: https://github.com/weihui1308/HOTCOLDBlock.
