ABSTRACT
Aluminum alloy 6082 (AA6082) is widely used in the production of industrial structural parts due to its light weight and good mechanical properties. However, such components are often accompanied by peripheral coarse grain defects poor surface hardness wear resistance. A nanostructured layer was developed on AA6082 through Surface Mechanical Attrition Treatment (SMAT) improve Thermal stability other features were investigated after annealed from 150 °C 350 °C. The experiment results showed that thermal for nanostructure without containing (Zr+Yb) at 300 °C, while composite addition improved 50 stabilized We found high pinning effect (Zr+Yb)-containing precipitates boundaries. main objective this study performance SMAT, investigate a way enhance order qualify material various temperature service conditions.
