ABSTRACT
I In the present study, a comparison of otolith morphology Alburnus tarichi , collected from different localities throughout Van Basin was carried on. A total 351 specimens A.tarichi by trammel nets four (Van, Erçek, Nazik, Aygır) during period April-May 2015 were examined. Fork length and body weight ranged between 9.9-24.6 cm 8.4-176.5 g, respectively. Lagenar otoliths removed discriminating as left right. Otolith ( OL ), breadth OB ) OW collected. Comparisons right-left measurements tested paired t test. breadth, A. among all ANOVA. There no significant difference in terms right but there statistically Lake Erçek. differences Nazik Aygır. Comparing together, length, each other for localities. The power model applied to estimate relationships fish length.
