ABSTRACT
Soil arsenic (As) levels are particularly high in parts of China, where wheat and rape widely grown. Understanding the effects As concentration on growth these two major crops is significance for food production security China. A pot experiment was carried out to study uptake phosphorus (P), soil bioavailability at different stages rape. The results indicated that winter much more sensitive stress than Wheat yields were elevated low rates addition (< 60 mg/kg) but reduced concentrations (80-100 mg/kg); while hadn't showed significant responses addition. Phosphorus jointing ear sprouting increased with increasing concentrations, increases assumed contribute a lot enhanced treatments. Arsenic did not significantly affect P either. highest shoot leaf 8.31 3.63 mg/kg, respectively. grains exceed maximum permissible limit stuffs 1.0 mg/kg. When less both could grow satisfactorily without adverse effects; when 80-100 suitable be planted wheat.
