ABSTRACT
The objective of the experiments was to compare types maize hybrids harvested at similar stage maturity, between one and two thirds milk line grain. study involved 9 with different parameters that were grown during a period three subsequent years in locations level precipitation. Differences terms content dry matter timing harvests small (323 ± 22 g/kg), showing no statistical significance (P = 0.34). Comparing early maturity medium < 0.05), former showed lower starch (299 g/kg (DM)), latter slightly higher value (312 DM) - while measured proportion neutral detergent fibre (NDF) among these 453 vs. 428 DM. normally ripening against stay-green hybrids, 314 294 DM, NDF 434 451 respectively. As for comparison flint (vitreous) type grain endosperm dent (floury), 298 323 427
