ABSTRACT
Background: Few studies in mathematics education have been looking at the new dynamics of communication with focus on analysis speeches propagated by false news. This social phenomenon is worrying: news that uses mathematical arguments to guide, shape, and reflect public opinion popular thinking based misleading information. Objectives: The aim this investigation was understand role process strengthening democracy. Data collection analysis: A video published a YouTube channel, which are used convince about certain point view, object study whose result presented paper. Design: With theoretical-methodological procedures pragmatic theory fixation beliefs verification content, adopted qualitative approach. Setting Participants: considered agencies, aired famous Brazilian journalist. Results: fake desinformation scenario has allowed us observe linked ideology certainty responsible for establishment formation opinions authority tenacity methods. Conclusions: We conclude models discourses virtual environments can be camouflaging human factor political decisions obscuring visibility ethical morality variables.
