ABSTRACT
<p style="text-align: justify;">The article presents an overview of modern foreign studies on the well-being professional athletes during period coping with crisis associated sport injury. It is indicated that sports injury has not only signs damage to body, but also triggers specific deep processes, including combined distress, violation psychological well-being, inability plan and implement goals. To cope them, injured athlete needs a wide range internal mental resources, in their context, personal authenticity particular importance. The approaches understanding this phenomenon are analyzed, related topics presented reveal potential preserving strengthening well-being. On model injury, prospect special successful rehabilitation through implementation growth (SIRG) considered. problems prospects further research outlined, vision given application described mechanisms work recovery patients well-being.</p>
