ABSTRACT
The wear behavior of high chromium white cast irons with composition: 2,6÷3,4% C; 0,9÷1,1% Si; 0,8÷1,1% Mn; 1,0÷1,3% Mo; 12,3÷13,4% Cr and 0,18 ÷ 1,25% B is investigated. microstructure tribological characteristics six compositions (one without boron 0,18; 0,23; 0,59; 0,96; boron) are studied. After casting, heat treatment was carried out, including quenching at 9500C tempering 2350C for 1 h. influence the heating temperature in interval 850÷11000С, 25 min on Rockwell hardness studied. The resistance during abrasive samples after casting investigated as measured loss mass terms dry friction under load 1,5 kg 10 min. lowest test conditions defined alloyed % - ∆ m = 0,1469 g 0,0022 treatment. highest determined testing 0,96 boron. show resistance.
