The scale removing process with acid, generally called as the pickling process, is accepted by steel producers satisfactorily. However, most of tend to develop without acid due environmental regulations. In related literature, some methods were studied for finding eco-friendly solutions. Although these studies seem be promising, still dominant a descaling before cold rolling applications. this study, efficient surface cleaning method which dry ice blasting was used under different parameters on carbon it might instead process. Results experiments observing cross-sectional micro structure samples. addition, destroying samples hot mounting application, topographies measured non-contact device. Finally, roughness values showed figures.
