Objective: Violentincidents in healthcare institutions are a situation that negatively affect sall professionals, especially physicians.This research wasplanned to determine the frequency of physicians' exposure workplace violence, theirreactions causes violence and solutions violence. Methods:In thisregard, studygroup researchconsists total 290 volunteer physicians between ages 24-72 working city center Sivas.In this study, data was collected using survey consisting 49 questions, including sociodemographic characteristics physicians, information about their status, variables related were exposed to, thoughts causes, consequences solution suggestions .The obtained analyzed SPSS 22.0 program.In order find answers arithmetic mean, standard deviation, median, min-max values from descriptive statistics; Numbers percentages given for categorical by counting.The assumption normality according Kolmogorov-Smirnov or Shapiro-Wilk test.Pearson Spearman correlation coefficient used relationship variables.P<0.05 considered significant. Results:The rate who at least once environment 57.9%, female, worked internal branches, had career 16 years more likely beexposed 49.4% besubjected violence.It concluded he complained.It determined among types psychological/verbal most common (82.1%), perpetrators mostly patients relatives. Conclusion:In prevent violent incidents negative effects violence; effective security measures should be taken, legal regulations made deter acts level awareness increased, workers supportand training on coping with it, conditions improved.
