ABSTRACT
Oxidative stress and neutrophil activation leading to an increase in myeloperoxidase (MPO), elastase extracellular trap (NET) levels blood are considered as pathogenic mechanisms responsible for the development of extremity damage people with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).
