ABSTRACT
University education is a period of human life when lifestyles or person's activity are critical to the development somatic build, while identification somatotype allows for corrections recommendation effective physical programmes. The main aim this study was assess selected features body build and identify somatotypes young people at early stages Jozef Pilsudski Physical Education in Warsaw depending on field study. examined 394 students (PE) sport (S). Anthropometric measurements were research method used (somatotype) identified using Heath-Carter method. ANOVA/MANOVA analysis variance employed determine significance differences values anthropometric characteristics between groups students. Students characterized by with code 3.08-4.6-2.62 (endomorphic mesomorph). In sport, 3.0-4.58-2.37 Compared S students, significantly (p < 0.05) higher (by 10.5%) ectomorphy component found PE results revealed need more into education, taking account changes their living conditions (including socio-economic environment), since graduates expected promote future.
