Efficacy of Local Isolates of Beauveria bassiana against Spodoptera litura (F.) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae)

Isolates of the entomopathogenic mitosporic ascomycete, Beauveria bassiana were evaluated against Spodoptera litura using leaf spray method. Mortality 66.67, 73.33 and 80.0% with respect to isolates Bb 02 , 09 10 respectively, was obtained four days after treatment. LC 50 2.1A—10 6 3.6A—10 7 1.2A—107 conidia ml -1 for respectively.
