ABSTRACT
Malnutrition is a persistent problem for both children and mother throughout the world. In developing countries malnutrition an important root of infant young child mortality, morbidity reduced life span. It considered that if cannot be prevented, it will impossible to achieve many Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) including goals on extreme poverty hungry, primary education, incidence infectious diseases. The World Summit Children in 1990 recognized as contributing factor half all deaths occurring among children. nutrition decade 1990-2000 include reduction moderate severe protein-energy under five years age by one levels (UNICEF, 1990). However, was most ambitious set various summits convened during 1990s. As result, were not successfully achieved period 1990-2000. step towards building strong foundation attaining internally agreed development goals, MDGs, consistent intermediate targets benchmarks course (2000-2010) help unmet 2003; United Nations, 2001). One regarding 2000-2010 reducing aged at least third 2000 levels, with special attention paid two age—especially stunted underweighted 2002).
