ABSTRACT
The High-Luminosity upgrade for the LHC relies on a set of RF Crab Cavities reaching its goals. Two parallel concepts, Double Quarter Wave (DQW) and Dipole (RFD), are going through comprehensive design process along with preparation fabrication in view extensive tests beam SPS. High Order Modes (HOM) couplers critical providing damping cavities operation accelerators. HOM prototyping have recently started at CERN. In this paper, an overview final shape is provided insight mechanical thermal analyses performed to validate these components. Emphasis also given test campaigns, material selection, initial that aimed fulfilling highly demanding tolerances couplers.
