Attitudes and Knowledge of Infertile Iranian Couples Among Treatment with Assisted Reproductive Technologies During COVID-19 Pandemics

ABSTRACT
Objective: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic affected the continuation of all non-emergency medical treatment and patients potentially suffer from restrictions including under infertility treatment. This study aimed to evaluate knowledge attitudes infertile couples about continuing assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs) therapy during COVID-19 outbreak, in Sari, Iran. Materials methods: We conducted a prospective longitudinal investigation on potential for with ARTs referred our clinic March 2020 June 2020. Ninety-two were studied voluntarily anonymously this study. A self-developed structured questionnaire was used assess attitude towards P-value less than 0.05 considered statistically significant. Results: Thirty-two (33.33%) had decreased motivation continue pandemic. Fear transmission fetus (28.13%) highest frequency among causes (P-value = 0.011). Trust support team (56.67%) most common reason not reducing without (P <0.001). Conclusion: Despite pandemy, Iran tended ARTs. Although many passable COVID-19, stress high desire have children did deter them their therapy.
