ABSTRACT
Silvofishery is the planting of mangroves in pond area. The commodities selected for silvofishery ponds include tiger shrimp, milkfish, and mangrove crab. purpose this research was to find best system based on average net present value (NPV) using a dynamic model simulation provide information about effect price changes or production silvofishery. results showed that shrimp mud crab are most feasible combinations silvofishery, having an NPV $755.71/ha/year. Meanwhile, has $332.28/ha/year, combination milkfish $-216.45/ha/year. increases variable cost by 63.3%, which indicates still run. decline selling shrimps 70% 50%, respectively, makes operate. On other hand, surrounding community’s level consumption greatly affects sale commodity. Environmental management must also be practiced as possible maintain functioning environment around avoid major losses, periodic maintenance done managers achieve targets. study suggested farmers wise making decisions implement appropriate
