A síndrome metabólica interfere na saúde bucal? Uma revisão integrativa

ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to verify, through a review, the relationship between metabolic syndrome and conditions related oral health, as well prevalence these alterations. search carried out in 2020, considering period from 2015 2019, PubMed Capes Journal Portal, using descriptors (and) health (or) consequences. content organized single textual corpus, building Word Cloud subsequently, thematic-category analysis proposed by Bardin out. 16 articles were considered. In word cloud words: “ Sindrome Metabolica ” (Metabolic Syndrome), associacao (association) these: longitudinal, relacao e significativamente (longitudinal, significantly) considered, as, perda dentaria (tooth loss), peridontite (periodontitis), saude bucal (oral health,) tabagismo (smoking), caries (cavities), obesidade (obesity) idade (age) . Also bringing japones (Japanese), which refers most evaluated population. Three categories emerged: Oral Health , Risk Factors for Metabolic Syndrome Quality Life An association found number teeth affected cavities, different stages periodontal disease with factors such obesity, time since diagnosis remaining cavity its impact on quality life.
