ABSTRACT
The present study was planned to evaluate the performance of groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) under varying levels sulphur and its sources Semi-Arid condition Rajasthan. Application 60 kg S/ha resulted 8.8, 23.8 59.6% more pod/plant than 45, 30 15 S/ha, respectively. Gypsum as a source S recorded 15.4 50.4% higher pods/plant over SSP elemental sulphur, However, number kernels/pod increased significantly upto 45 kg/ha only. improved by 14.2 11.2% in 140, 345 744 127, 319 616 pod kernel yield kg/ ha, Sulphur application through gypsum highest (1872 kg/ha) that 13.1 32.0 percent obtained treatment, at 75 shelling% (72.13%) which were 7.0 10.9 per cent S/ha. exhibited 7.6 17.0% protein content Among sources, (23.75%), oil (44.49%) (597.76 with gypsum. magnitude 70.3, 175.1 316.9 rate margin tune 6343, 15867, 34062 /ha Likewise, graded increment BCR lower levels. maximum net returns (55358/ha) (1.68)
