ABSTRACT
Anaerobic Digestion (AD) has proven to be an economically viable technology treat the organic fraction of municipal solid wastes (OFMSW). Research regarding management and application AD byproducts in Mexico, is required encourage private sector local administrations invest this technology. In study, fodder winter triticale (x triticosecale Wittm. ex A. Camus var. Rio Nazas) was grown demonstrate fertilizer effect evaluate raw digestate generated from under thermophilic conditions locally sampled OFMSW, using a batch scale digester. The produced incorporated into 6 m2 plot according recommender fertilization for crop. At same time, crop treated with inorganic (IF) control were grown, each on dimensions, comparison purposes. measured yield (Mg ha−1), seed efficiency (kgTriticale kgSeed−1) bromatological value. Overall, treatment had better results (12.54 Mg ha−1) (83.61 kgTriticale than those achieved IF (11.16 ha−1 74.43 kgSeed−1 , respectively) control.
