ABSTRACT
Aim:If surgical intervention is necessary for Os-Good-Schlatter patients ,a number of techniques including open surgical, arthroscopic and bursoscopic procedures are available. The aim this study was to evaluate the mid-term clinical results who underwent arthroscopic excision with diagnosis OSD. Materials Methods:This modeled a retrospective design.16 ossicle were included in study. The Visual Analog Scale (VAS) Score,Tegner Activity Lysholm Knee Score forms administered order compare their pre-operative post-operative condition. In addition, complications such as infection, residual bone fragments,re-hospitalization or recurrence evaluated recorded. Results:A total 16 study, these patients, 11 (68.75%) male 5 (31.25%) female. The mean age 28.8 (20–41 ± 7) years. follow-up period 82.9 (61–108 15) months. time return sports-related training activities all 9.2 (8–11) weeks. VAS decreased from 6.8 1.1 points preoperatively, 5.7 1.3 at final (P < 0.001). In addition, Tegner Level score improved 0.6 preoperatively 7.8 0.9 77.4 4.6 preoperative period, increasing 97.7 5.8 one patient, occurred 105th postoperative month revision surgery performed. Conclusion:Arthroscopic OSD can be considered an adequate technique when evaluated.Although rare, may occur after surgery. In demonstrate superiority method over procedures, comparative studies containing long-term required.
