Towards a checklist of the vascular flora of the Neretva River Delta (Croatia)

The Neretva river Delta is considered one of the 96 important plant areas Croatia and as an wetland listed a ramsar site.In this paper we provide data on habitat floristic diversity recorded during field study carried out in april 2011.we surveyed 10 localities identified 18 types, 12 which are included annex I eu Directive.Out 458 vascular taxa, 32 red Book flora endangered (5 taxa), vulnerable (10 Near threatened (11), while 6 taxa regarded Data Deficient.In addition, two invasive alien species endemic for Dinaric area, discuss their conservation biogeographycal importance.we added 160 records from literature sources to our data, resulted 618 (recorded) region.
