Evaluating Change Behaviour Training Model for Improving Nutrition Knowledge and Counseling Skill among Peer Couselors in Malang District

ABSTRACT
Capacity strengthening and interpersonal communication are important in social behavior change would support accelerating the reduction of stunting Indonesia. Participating actively learning during training model can increase capacity among family team community health workers as peer counselors. The study evaluated changed for nutrition knowledge counseling skill using active participation was conducted through participants' small discussions on complementary feeding problems practice. total is 125 from teams workers. used a mixed methodology with cross-sectional open interviews to explore perceived participant child problem couseling skills. A pre-post evaluation showed significant improvement score (p<0.005). At end training, increased 17 points, proportion high category improved 0.4% 13.5% skills identify barrier factors breastfeeding
