ABSTRACT
Mining is the process of extracting beneficial minerals from surface earth that have an impact on formation acid mine drainage (AMD). One method passive AMD management treatment. This study used Nested Factorial Experiment Design method. The types organic matter were empty fruit bunch oil palm (EFB) and cow dung, with doses 0 Mg ha-1 (control), 50 ha-1, 100 150 200 ha-1. Each treatment was three repeats so 30 units experimental obtained. pH value in untreated (control) reactor 3.67. initial reaction (pH) (0 days) EFB application at a dose – ranged 3.63 4.28 dung 3.84 4.13. 1st to 4th weeks after adding show range (6.38 7.59) manure (6.09 7.01). conclusion are constructed wetland media for 4 had very real effect increasing while most effective against pH.
