ABSTRACT
This work aimed to evaluate the production of fresh and dry mass leaves, stems aerial parts, content quality lemon mint (Mentha x piperita var. citrata) essential oil as a result four potassium (K) concentrations (276, 414, 552 690 mg.L-1) under hydroponic solutions. The experiment was carried out in NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) system. Leaves were separated weighted determine part them used extract Clevenger apparatus. analysis chemical composition performed gas chromatograph fitted with spectrometer. estimated concentration for maximum leaves corresponded 384 mg.L-1 K. greatest K proportionated an increase yield per plant, but decreased linalool linalyl acetate oil. Under conditions out, order obtain adequate quantity higher plant accumulus, 414 is recommended solution cultivation mint.
