Attitude towards Sexuality: Perceptions of Male University Students in Gujarat

At a time when there is an unprecedented surge in reported cases of all forms sexual violence, including rape women by men even within intimate relations across the world, it essential to investigate men’s attitude towards sexuality with its intricacies from gendered perspective, especially legal, social and cultural structures continue fail challenging prevailing discourses around sexuality. This study attempts explore male university students encapsulate same gender-specific patriarchal theories. With descriptive research design, this interviewed 396 chosen Gujarat, India, selected stratified — systematic sampling method different streams study. Quantitative analysis underlined clearly portrayed unfavourable attitudes held large proportion students. also illustrate how power inequality highly influences their entitlement constriction attitudes.
