ABSTRACT
Despite rapid progress in the treatment of many cancers, glioblastoma remains a devastating disease with dismal prognosis. Recombinant heat shock protein 70 (Hsp70) and IL-2 stimulate cytolytic activity NK cells against large variety highly aggressive human tumor presenting Hsp70 on their cell surface. Therefore, intra- extracellular expression was determined gliomas together activatory receptors which are known to interact membrane-bound (mHsp70). All mHsp70-positive high grade overexpress nucleus cytosol. Significantly increased levels detected predominantly glioblastomas necrotic areas. Overall survival (OS) is improved patients low serum indicating that associated unfavorable Progression-free (PFS) correlates elevated proportions activated (CD56+/CD94+, CD3-/CD69+) at diagnosis. The stimulation these vivo might be related presence pro-inflammatory cytokines Danger Associated Pattern Molecule (DAMP) circulation. Of caution, glucocorticoid therapy reduces prevalence cells. In summary, frequencies diagnosis predict more favorable prognosis patients.
