ABSTRACT
Multicomponent training is recommended for people with dementia living in long-term care homes. Nevertheless, evidence limited and severe are often excluded from trials. Hence, the aim of this study was to investigate (1) feasibility (2) requirements regarding a multicomponent moderate dementia. The conducted as an uncontrolled single arm pilot mixed methods approach. 15 nursing home residents mean age 82 years (range: 75-90 years; female: 64%) received 16 weeks training. Feasibility were assessed by standardized observation protocol. Eleven participants regularly attended intervention. highest active participation observed during gait exercises (64%), lowest strength (33%). It supportive if task-specific or related everyday life. This confirms that target group feasible well accepted. To enhance individual instructions implementation life required. effectiveness adapted should be tested future randomized controlled
