Brazilian Adults' Attitudes and Practices toward the Mandatory Vaccination for COVID-19 and the Hesitancy about Childhood Vaccination

ABSTRACT
Background: This study describes the attitudes and practices of Brazilian adults regarding mandatory vaccination for COVID-19 hesitancy to children´s vaccination. Methods: The participants answered an online questionnaire disseminated on social networks. An adaptation SAGE-WG was used measure children's hesitancy. Results: Among 1,007 participants, 677 (67.4%) believed that among should be mandatory. Just over half (51.5%) believe parents guardians free decide whether their children vaccinated against COVID-19, 9.1% were unsure about this. Younger, non-religious people who have higher self-perceptions risk evaluate federal government's performance in combating disease as bad or very bad, a agreement with vaccination, lower vaccinate children, child scores. Conclusion: In Brazil, is far from consensus, expressive part population believes choose not children. These perceptions vaccine are associated religious political inclinations.
