ABSTRACT
Electricity generation from renewable energy sources is emerging as a result of global carbon emission reduction policies. However, most are non-dispatchable and cannot be adjusted to meet the fluctuating electricity demands society. A flexible operation process has been proposed an effective solution compensate for unstable nature sources. Thermal load fluctuations during may cause creep-fatigue damage high-temperature components thermal power plants, they designed with focus on creep under constant level. This study investigated residual life components, such superheater tube reheater header, failure conditions using finite element analysis empirical models. First, we determine analytical straightened compare it numerical verify Through verified model, header estimated by considering factors employing Coffin-Manson Larson-Miller Although fatigue increases decreasing minimum ramp rate, confirmed that significantly affects operation. In addition, surrogate model was evaluate function machine learning methodology, based results methods. It can used predict its without performing complex thermal-structure relying models life. We expect our findings contribute efficient plants optimizing factors.
