ABSTRACT
In this paper, new N-way Wilkinson power dividers (WPDs) are represented by using slow-wave structures such as narrow slits loaded and meandered transmission lines. The slit lines used to represent the quarter wavelength of a conventional WPD for size reduction. Based on proposed approaches, 2-, 4- 8-way designed, simulated fabricated. fabricated -, circuits have been measured at center frequencies 2.03, 1.77, 1.73 GHz in an excellent agreement with predicted ones. also design types WPDs having novel input/output port arrangements. For purpose, two 3-way located both sides same board so different splitting ratios inputs outputs provide alternative solutions antenna arrays. Furthermore, 5-way dual layer is introduced locating layers. 3- allow halving input next output order P/2, P/4, P/8, P/16, P/16. All designed simulated, successfully tested.
