Background: Exclusively breastfeeding your newborn while in the hospital is imperative for suc-cessful at home. This study will investigate if having a nurse on-site during rooming-in can enhance proportion of exclusive breastfeeding. Methods: We carried out prospective cohort to assess first three months life among two Neona-tology Units Southern Italy with different settings.
