ABSTRACT
Within the eastern part of Black Sea and Azov, vegetation charophytes was studied using Brown-Blanquet approach. For first time, five communities are described, including three associations two subassociations from alliance Charion canescentis Krausch 1964, order Charetalia intermediae Sauer 1937, class Charetea F. Fukarek 1961. Diagnoses described syntaxa given. A comparison with Baltic Mediterranean is made. It shown that all Azov-Black dominance charophytes, in contrast to Western European ones, include Lamprothamnium papulosum high constancy. At same southern seas Russia characterized by a lower occurrence abundance higher aquatic plants (except for Nanozostera noltei) slightly red green algae. An indirect ordination analysis showed ecological isolation phytocenoses revealed main factors influencing floristic composition – granulometric bottom sediments water eutrophication.
