ABSTRACT
One of the operational challenges for use bentonite pellets as a sealing material in abandonment offshore fields consists their disposition inside well. This study aims to analyze interaction fluid media, consisting saline solutions (NaCl, CaCl2 and KCl) organic compounds (diesel, glycerin olefin), with pellets, aiming its application displacement oil well operations. The physical integrity contact fluids was verified through visual inspections dispersibility tests. Linear swelling tests were also performed evaluate potential deionized water after media. results indicated that NaCl, KCl completely compromise while diesel olefin showed best responses regarding structural preservation. Futhermore, linear that, even 1 hour, have reached total 78%, 24 hours. In this way, proved be highly promising alternatives used wells abandoned submarine environment.
