ABSTRACT
Post-operative pain is the unpleasant sensory and emotional experience after surgery, its origin being both inflammatory reaction induced by surgical trauma on abdominal wall, splanchnic pain, activation of nociceptors viscera, which are highly sensi-tive to distension, ischemia inflammation. Nowadays, it well recognized that there a close relationship between gut microbiome perception, af-fected anaesthesia manipulation. Thus, efforts restore disturbed micro-biome supplementation with beneficial bacteria, namely probiotics, seems be effective. In this article knowledge gained mainly from experimental research topic analyzed, con-cluding message each probiotic strain works in own way towards relief.
