ABSTRACT
The use of biological plant protection products is promising for agriculture. In particular, chitosan-based biopesticides have become widespread stimulating growth and protecting plants from a wide range pathogens. Novochizol product obtained by intramolecular cross-linking linear chitosan molecules has globular shape, which provides it with number advantages over chitosan. previously been shown to effect on the development common wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). However, this preparation protective mechanisms against rust diseases not studied before. Our studies revealed dose stem wheat. When treating novochizol at concentration 0.125% four days before infection, best results were obtained, namely: stable reaction was observed pustules decreased. To identify critical points drug's mechanism rust, we used an adrenaline test, allows quick assessment pro/antioxidant status extracts. As result, 2 stages identified in infected pre-treated novochizol: early (up 10 hours after inoculation), characterized antioxidant activity, late (10-244 hours) prooxidant activity. These correspond two peaks accumulation reactive oxygen species (ROS) response pathogen infection. first peak associated superoxide anion O2−, converted into hydrogen peroxide under action enzyme SOD (superoxide dismutase). second H2O2. Hydrogen performs function leading death mycelial cells. comparison without treatment, found decrease activity catalase (an that breaks down H2O2) both stages, as well peroxidase interval 144 inoculation. Also, increase phenolic compounds treated plants. We suggest these changes influence pre-treatment contribute enhancement defense functions rust. This work preliminary stage extended analysis immunity using biochemical molecular genetic approaches.
