ABSTRACT
The huge unconventional resources of natural gas in the earth's crust make it future not only main source raw materials for global energy, but also cheapest and most abundant material production many basic petrochemical products. However, technological complexity high energy consumption multistage processes converting methane into thermodynamically less stable products remain problem constraining development chemistry. A promising solution may be a matrix technology autothermal reforming syngas or hydrogen. This is based on internal recuperation heat conversion products, which implemented surface combustion mode. review presents principles reforming, results achieved so far areas its application.
