ABSTRACT
The effects of RF-EMR from 5G on red blood cell (RBC) morphometric parameters and complete count (CBC) in pigs are unknown. Exposure human laboratory animal to 4G older technologies has been shown have deleterious cells changes CBC. This study aimed determine the effect at different frequencies RBC morphometry CBC after short-term vitro exposure sow blood. Blood samples were taken 16 sows aged 1 2 years. Three ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) tubes per labelled as experimental three control tubes. Experimental sam-ples placed a Half-cone gigahertz transversal electromagnetic exposed for hours network, i.e. 700 MHz, 2500 MHz 3500 with an electric field strength 10 V/m. erythrocytes determined using computer-assisted programme SFORM, while value was haematology analyser. frequency dependent. most detrimental observed which resulted significantly elongated irregularly bordered RBCs. These results suggest that may im-pact RBCs shape, well their mechanical properties or integrity, could serious function.
