To compare the hemodynamic and clinical outcomes following mitral valve replacement with Perimount those of Mosaic valve.A total 145 consecutive patients rheumatic heart disease who underwent single bioprosthetic were randomized to receive either (n=72) or bioprosthesis (n=73). The mean age was 72.1 years (range, 58-89 years) a sex distribution 55.2% female 44.8% male. Patients follow up transthoracic echocardiography at 3 months 1 year postoperatively.
