The World Spine Care (WSC), established by volunteers from 5 continents, is dedicated to providing sustainable, evidence-based spine care individuals and communities in low middle-income countries consistent with available health-care resources integrated within the local culture. research committee approves oversees WSC’s collaborative training projects worldwide serves create a sustainable community for underserved populations focused on preventing disability spinal disorders. purpose of this article describe 4 overseen WSC discuss several challenges specific facilitators that allowed successful completion initiatives. These novel projects, which involved establishing surgery expertise data collection clinics surrounding communities, all met their aims. This was achieved overcoming language resource challenges, adapting customs, taking time build mutual respect nurture relationships investigators stakeholders.
