ABSTRACT
A 45-year-old female patient presented with left knee pain after a ski accident. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) showed complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament, posterior proximal Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL), and medial patellofemoral ligament. The lateral meniscal root was torn horn incarcerated superiorly into popliteal hiatus, rendering high risk plastic deformation. An unconventional 2-staged surgical approach performed.Where deformation is in setting multiligamentous injury (MLKI), diagnosis careful planning are central to successful outcome. Treatment intra-articular structures operative stage 1 MLKI possible necessary this case.
